MEHAR CHAND BADHAN PASSED AWAY |

It is to inform with great heart and grief that Mr. Mehar
Chand Badhan passed away on September 28, 2012. Mr. Mehar
Chand Badhan was a long time resident of Sacramento and
father of Mr. Lashker Singh Badhan ex-chairman of Sri
Guru Ravidass Sabha Sacramento. His funeral services will
be held on Friday October 5, 2012 at Mountain View Mortuary
located on 425 Stoker Avenue in Reno Nevada 89503 from
10:00 AM to 01:00 PM.
Akand Path of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji will begin in the
memory of the departed soul at Sri Guru Ravidass Temple,
Rio Linda (California) on Friday October 5th and the Bhog
ceremony thereof will be performed on Sunday, October

second Memorial Day of Shaheed Sant Shri 108 Rama Nand
Maharaj Ji will be celebrated on May 29th, 2011. Akhand

Ujagar had passed away unexpectedly yesterday March
30, 2011 in Sacramento. A long time resident of Sacramento
, Mr. Hardeep Ujagar was a well known member of the
Ujagar family, in the community and was younger brother
of Mr. Joginder Ujagar, Ex-President of Sri Guru Ravidass
Sabha Sacramento, California.

We,
Sri Guru Ravidass Sabha Sacramento (Sabha) are pleased
to inform that this year the 634th Birth Anniversary of
Sri Guru Ravidass Ji Maharaj will be celebrated on Sunday
March 13, 2011 at the Rio Linda Temple (Sacramento) with
dedication and spirit. In that honor, a chain of Sri Akhand
Paths is in progress at the Temple since February 18,
2011. The last Akhand Path of this series will begin on
Friday March 11 and the Bhog Ceremony thereof will be
performed on Sunday March 13, 2011 at 10:00 AM. Thereafter,
like every year, our 11th Annual Nagar Kirtan (Peace Parade)
will be in procession from 11:30 AM to 4:30 PM around
the Temple's neighborhood. In addition, on the Saturday
evening of March 12, 2011 a "Rain Swaii Kirtan"
will begin at 06:00 PM and continue until midnight with
cooperation of the sangat. Prominent Kirtankars, Ragi/Dhadi
Jathas and singers will enlighten the sangat with the
holy Gurbani and Life & Teachings of Sri Guru Ravidass
Ji Maharaj.
The
Nishaan Sahib hoisting ceremony will be performed on Saturday
March 12, 2011 in the morning at 10:00 AM. As always,
the Sangat is supreme and we can accomplish this mission
only with a coordinated cooperation and unity of all dedicated
sangat and sewadars. Volunteers are requested to join
hands with the Sabha to share our responsibilities in
any area of activities they prefer. Sri Guru Ravidass
Sabha Sacramento (Sabha), therefore, is humbly requesting
all sangat to participate in this common community program
on Saturday March 12 and Sunday March 13, 2011 and evoke
Waheguru's eternal blessings.
On
this auspicious occasion, individuals willing to install
temporary retail kiosks to promote their businesses or
hosting any sort of volunteer sewa are requested to inform
the Temple or any committee member as soon as possible

from February 18 to 20, 2011. In that honor, a Sri Akhand Path
will begin on Friday February 18 and the Bhog Ceremony thereof
will be performed on Sunday February 20, 2011. In addition,
in the evening of Friday February 18, a Kirtan Darbar will be
held from 06:30 PM to 9:00 PM. All sangat is requested by the
Mall family to grace this occasion and cherish His Almighty's
blessings.
However, the prime 634th Birth Anniversary of SGR Ji will be
celebrated on the second Sunday of March, i.e. March 13, 2011
along with our 11th Nagar Kirtan on the same day. More information
